Buying your first real sword

So, you are here to buy your first real sword.  Well welcome and well met!

You may have purchased some rat-tail, stainless-steel "Sword Like Object" SLO for short.  You may have done some investigation and that is great! That is a good start.

There are 3 main differences between real swords and a SLO. 1. Real swords are made from carbon steel. 2. Real Swords are properly tempered 3. Real swords have a full tang.

I will say you probably looked and seen buy this sword from this company and when you saw the price, it was out of your price range.  I understand!  Did you notice they do not include scabbards?

So, you are here for help, and we are here to help!

Now we will begin, and we will keep it short.

We have made from our forges, real carbon steel, properly tempered and full tang medieval and renaissance swords.  So below are short descriptions of the lines we have made.  Each line has an exclusive forge all done to our specifications.

Kingdom Of Arms Nobility Line - This is our high-end line.  Made to our high standards.  The blades are hand forged from 5160 carbon steel, hand ground and tempered just like the originals.  With all edges extremely sharp and full tangs. No CnC machining or tempering in an electric or propane forge.  All handles are hand done, The pommels and guards are made from quality low carbon steel to help keep rust down. Each sword and dagger include a high end, custom, quality scabbard.

Kingdom Of Arms, Man at Arms Line - This is a great line for beginners, who want a real sword to buy.  This customer wants a real sword at an affordable price to wear at a Renaissance or Medieval Faire.  They are made from forged C60 carbon steel, hand ground and tempered with full tangs, like an original sword. To keep the cost down we use mild steel for the pommels and guards as other production sword companies.  But we do a quality scabbard to differentiate from the others.

We will keep improving and updating you often!

Happy Sword Buying!
