Only 50 of these axes were made in this limited run from the Hanwei Forge. It is based on the original museum piece on display at The National Museum of Denmark. The antique was buried in a grave in Denmark between 970 and 971. It was part of an elaborate grave.
Hand crafted from high carbon spring steel with silver leafing in the elaborate carved design.
The haft is 15 3/4" long. The axe head is 6 1/4" by 4". It weighs 1 pound 1 ounces.
