Gustav Rapier (Antiqued Finish) by Paul Chen / Hanwei – Historical Replica Sword

Own a museum-inspired replica of the sword carried by Sweden’s warrior king, Gustav II Adolf.

This stunning Gustav Rapier by Paul Chen / Hanwei is modeled after the original piece housed at the Royal Armoury in Stockholm. The antique dates back to 1625–1630 and was worn by King Gustav II Adolf until his death in 1632. This faithful reproduction captures the historical essence of the original German-made weapon while offering modern craftsmanship and materials.

Authentic Design with Modern Durability

The antiqued finish on the hilt is a unique treatment developed by Hanwei, giving the stainless steel a realistic patina while maintaining its corrosion resistance. The result is a blade with a true museum-quality appearance without sacrificing long-term durability. Perfect for collectors, historical enthusiasts, and stage performers alike.

This rapier’s blade is also compatible with the Hanwei "Practical" sparring blade (model OH2255), making it an excellent choice for both display and fencing practice.
