The first mission of the </span>Teutonic knights<span data-mce-fragment="1"> was to help retake </span>Jerusalem<span data-mce-fragment="1"> from the Arabs in the </span>Third Crusade<span data-mce-fragment="1"> (1187-1192 CE).</span><br></p>
<p><span data-mce-fragment="1">With their famous black cross on a white tunic, the austere Teutonic knights became master traders and diplomats, carving out vast swathes of territory from their base in Prussia and building castles across Europe from Sicily to Lithuania.</span></p>
<p><span>The <strong>Kingdom of Arms Nobility</strong> Teutonic Knight Sword features a hand hammered 5160 carbon steel blade as the originals were made, full tang, heat treated and tempered as the originals, for a strong yet flexible blade that will hold a very sharp edge, with a leather wrapped handle and blued pommel with brass cross inset in the pommel, and blued quillons. Fully Functional (Battle Ready)! Comes with a wooden scabbard with leather accents and with hangers attached.</span></p>
