The Bedford War Sword Designed by Bruce Brookhart
The next in the Man of Arms collection designed for you by Bruce Brookhart. This large Medieval War Sword is named for the last siege fought in the First Baron’s War in England in 1224. This form of sword is light enough to be used with one hand, giving the user a longer reach than a one-handed sword when imploded with a shield. The wood, leather wrapped grip is long enough to be easily used with two hands for powerful blows and thrusts while the shield was slung on the back. The well-tempered blade is from C60 high carbon steel while the parts are from mild steel. A good quality heavy leather scabbard is included.
